bbPM Plugin Plugin
bbPM is the first plugin I will convert from bbPress Standalone to bbPress Plugin. This makes bbPM the first Plugin Plugin I’ve made.
The screenshot above is unedited, and it shows my current progress in rewriting bbPM from the ground up. PM threads are available only to the users specified when the PM is created. I will add the ability to add users to a thread after its creation soon.

That’s great news Ben! I’ve got a bbPress forum on which bbPM is well used and I’d hate to lose it when I eventually make the switch to the bbPress plugin.

Hello, I have problem with bbPM (maybe it is just misconfiguration on my side). As key master I can send messages, but when I created test user (I wasn’t able to test with real person, since my wp+bbpress portal is not yet publicly available), there wasn’t messages link in header (I have checked link in header option and it’s shown normally for key master). So what I need to do?

A few questions:
Is version 1.0.1 the latest version of bbPM, because that’s what I just downloaded?
Is the only way to reply to a post via the #REPLY link under the message, such that the reply appears indented to the right of the original message, and the replies get farther and farther to the right, or is there a way for all the comments to end up aligned the same way?
Thanks!!

Having trouble with the install. Get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bb_load_plugin_textdomain() in …/pfa/wp-content/plugins/bbpm/bbpm.php on line 20
I don’t know if this is an interaction with other plugins or what…
Any ideas?

Hi, great plugin thanks! i wondered if I can change the ‘Private Messages’ link in top banner to stand out more? Or even better to change colour when there are unread new messages?
Many thanks in advance.

Hello,
the plugin sounds great; but where can I download it from? I’ve searched the entire internet for it and could not find it.
I will appreciate a link to the download page. Thanks in advance.

Yeah any chance this plugin is still coming? I finally upgraded to v2.2 and this is the one feature I am missing

This page is really old, I am guessing the development of this plugin is no longer happening? Shame if it is.

Hi!. I am using bbPress1.2
bbPM conflicts with NicerPermalinks plugin. Causes pagination problem.
Solution:Change privatemessages.php line 183 into this pm_pages( max( $get == ‘pagenumber’ ? $action : 1, 1 ) );
and bbpm.php line 441 into this ‘format’ => bb_get_option( ‘mod_rewrite’ ) ? ‘/pagenumber/%#%’ : ‘=pagenumber/%#%’
Summary: change page to pagenumber
that will help.
